In NHL at last

Being a supertalent and really wanting to NHL the transfer agreements between NHL and Russia Hockey Federation made Evgeni stay in Russia and Magnitogorosk for the 2005/2006 season. In 2006/2007 preseason he left the russian national team while being in Finland and took off to Pittsburgh.

Being born same year as Alexander Ovechkin those two pretty much dominated the junior national team scene. Now he's got another super talent - Sidney Crosby - on the same team and Engeni has really started out his debut season really well, 22+22=44 points in 39 games so far
